Patty Mills and the San Antonio Spurs took on the Washington Wizards in Washington, beating them 112-100
Aron Baynes and the Detroit Pistons traveled to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder, led by triple double machine Russell Westbrook. Detroit lost by a big margin, 106-88
Mills had another strong game for the Spurs. In 19 minutes Mills scored 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including 3-of-5 from deep. Mills also collected three rebounds and four assists.
Mills led a strong effort by the second unit. He had the second highest plus/minus of plus 13, just two behind David Lee who had plus 15 on the night.
Baynes had a more solid game today. In only 12 minutes Baynes scored seven points on 1-of-2 shooting. Baynes showed the value of being a good free throw shooter by going 5-of-6 from the line.
Baynes also had four rebounds. one assist and one block in the 18 point loss. Of all the Detroit Pistons players on the court, Baynes had the highest plus/minus with plus 4 on the night which shows that the Pistons were completely outplayed.
