There were two games in the NBA involving Australian’s.
Aron Baynes and the Detroit Pistons travelled to Boston to take on the Celtics. The Pistons won 121-114 to take their road wins to three for the season.
Patty Mills and the San Antonio Spurs traveled to Dallas to take on take on Andrew Bogut and the Mavericks. The Spurs came away with the victory 94-87
Baynes played a solid game for the Pistons. He played 13 minutes, mainly due to Andre Drummond holding his cool and not elbowing people in the head. In those 13 minutes, Baynes scored four points on, all from the free throw line where he shot a perfect 4-of-4.
Baynes also had three rebounds, two assists and a block.
Mills played a great game. He played 29 minutes and scored a team high 23 points on 9-of-12 from the field. He shot an incredible 5-of-6 from distance. His scoring rallied the Spurs, helping the Spurs get the win.
Mills had a really good all round game by also collecting three rebounds, four assists and a steal.
Bogut had another typical game for him. He played 35 minutes, scoring four points on 2-of-2 shooting. He had a chance to score more but mised both of his free throws.
Bogut collected 12 rebounds, five assists and a block.
