There were two games in the NBA today involving Australians. It would have been three except Andrew Bogut was rested for the Dallas Mavericks
Matthew Dellavedova and Thon Maker traveled with the Milwaukee Bucks to Brooklyn to take on the Nets, beating them 111-93
The Utah Jazz with Joe Ingles and Dante Exum hosted the Miami Heat, losing 111-110.
Dellavedove had a nice, game. Nothing spectacular but did his job. In 23 minutes, Dellavedova scored nine points on 3-of-6 shooting. He went 3-of-4 from deep and looked good from range.
Dellavedova also collected four assists and a steal in a solid game. He did not play many minutes due to Milwaukee having the game sewn up in the third period and let their reserves play extended minutes.
Unfortunately for Maker, these extra minutes did not have as many as he would have liked. Maker only got two minutes at the end of the fourth quarter. He missed his only shot but did block one shot.
Exum started for the Utah Jazz in place of George Hill who had a sprained toe. Exum only played 18 minutes, scoring five points on 1-of-6 shooting, 1-of-4 from deep. He did manage to hit both his free throws.
Exum also collected two rebounds, two assists and one block in a reasonable all round game.
My Versatility had his game of the season so far. Without Hill there was a shuffle of players and Ingles played for 22 minutes. Aussie Joe scored 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting, including 3-of-4 from deep. Ingles also collected four rebounds and four assists.
