There were three games involving Australians in the NBA today.

Matthew Dellavedova and the Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Brooklyn Nets and won 112-103 despite a late charge by the Nets. Thon Maker did not get any game time.

Andrew Bogut and the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Chicago Bulls, beating the 107-82 for their fourth win of the season

Dante Exum, Joe Ingles and the Utah Jazz hosted the Denver Nuggets, beating them 105-98

Matthew Dellavedova

Dellavedova played his game of the season against the Brooklyn Nets. In 26 minutes Dellavedova came out of the slight shooting funk that he was in and scored 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting. He missed both his three point attempts but was perfect from the line, shooting 6-of-6.

Dellavedova collected two rebounds and had six assists was was an equal high for the team. He only committed one turnover and had a plus/minus of 15 on the game.

Andrew Bogut

It was clear less than three minutes in that Andrew Bogut was going to have one of those games. He had four rebounds in that time. Bogut collected six of the first seven Dallas rebounds for the game.

Bogut would only play 21 minutes of game time but his early play helped set up the huge win before he fouled out. In those 21 minutes Bogut had eight points on perfect 4-of-4 shooting. Bogut also collected a game high 11 rebounds.

Bogut also had one assist and a steal but it was his defense that was key, the two steals he got early helped the team set up for the win.

Dante Exum

With George Hill out again, the Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder elected to start Dante Exum despite not giving him any game time only a few games ago. The horses for courses policy still appears to be working for the Jazz. Exum responded to this faith by having six points at quarter time, including a perfect 4-of-4 from the line.

Exum would finish the game with ten points , going 3-of-7 from the field. He also collected two rebounds and two assists in a solid showing which should get him more minutes when Hill returns.

Joe Ingles

Mr Versatility played the most minutes of any Jazz player, playing 26 minutes in total. In that time he scored eight points on 3-of-5 shooting, including 2-of-3 from deep.

In another typical game for Aussie Joe he also collected three rebounds, four assists and a steal.

Injury Ward

Ben Simmons

The Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Boston Celtics, losing 107-106. Ben Simmons is still out from the surgery to his foot. He is still recovering from the Jones fracture he suffered in the pre season. There is still no timetable for his return
