There was only one game in the NBA today involving a New Zealand player in the NBA.
Due to Matthew Dellavedova being out with a hamstring strain, there was only one game today involving a player from either Australia and New Zealand and it was the big Kiwi, Steven Adams. Adams and the Oklahoma City Thunder traveled to Charlotte to take on the Hornets who needed a win to get their season on track. Unfortunately for the Thunder, the Hornets won 123-112.
Adams had a huge night against Charlotte, collecting a double double in the process. He played 36 minutes and scored 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field. He also went a perfect 2-of-2 from the line. Adams collected 12 rebounds, including four on the offensive end of the court.
In a very versatile night, Adams collected three assists, one steal and one block. Adams was also one of three starters who had five fouls, coming close to fouling out.
